Timothy Stephen Pickul, 32, of Centerville, MA returned home to his Fathers welcome embrace on Monday, November 26, 2018. Born and raised on the Cape, Tim took full advantage of the abundance of activities the Cape had to offer. Whether going to the beach with friends or fishing the Centerville River with his father, Tim was always up for an adventure. A 2004 graduate of Barnstable High School, Tim enjoyed playing soccer and baseball and skateboarding with friends. After high school, Tim attended Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida where he studied liberal arts.
In 2011, Tim enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and completed his training on April 15 as the Company Honor Graduate of Platoon 3028, Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion. Upon leaving Parris Island, he went to Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri to complete the Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Defense course where he was presented the Gung Ho Award after being nominated by his peers for displaying superior motivation and leadership skills.
When he wasn’t working, Tim could be found playing golf on any available course, fishing at Micah Pond in Osterville, helping his father cook, hanging out with friends and family, or just kicking around a soccer ball. Tim was an avid soccer fan and could often be found watching the English Premier League to root on his favorite team, Liverpool FC.
Tim was the beloved son of Mary Ellen St. George and the late Stephen F. Pickul, Jr. He leaves behind his sister Sarah St. George of Boston, his beloved dog Duchess, his maternal grandmother Anne (McCabe) St. George of Punta Gorda, FL, his paternal grandmother Teresa (Crosti) Pickul of Ipswich, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who adored Tim and will miss him very much.
